Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a leading Sheffield based firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting an experienced practice accountant for the position of Qualified Accountant for the role of Client Manager. The firm supports a wide range of clients across the region, providing these clients with a full range of accounting, business advisory and taxation services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working alongside a highly experienced team of accountants and supporting a Director, the role of Client Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, duties will include:
- Responsible for a varied client portfolio of small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Supervise and provide training and guidance for a select number of trainee accountants
- Review work prepared by accounts team
- Key point of contact for clients for queries, support and year end meetings (with Partner)
- Preparation of Management Information
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Provide commercial business support
Skills and Qualities
The successful Client Manager will ideally be qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 6 years experience working within a firm of accountants. Individuals must have a broad range of experience in statutory and management accounting, as well as client-facing work.
Remuneration
Base salary of between £40,000 - £55,000. Flexible Working Hours. Enhanced Holiday package. Parking.
