Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a leading Doncaster firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting an experienced practice accountant for the position of Client Manager. The firm supports a wide range of clients across the region, providing these clients with a full range of accounting, business advisory and taxation services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working alongside a highly experienced team of accountants and supporting a Director, the role of Client Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, duties will include:
  • Responsible for a varied client portfolio of small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Supervise and provide training and guidance for a select number of trainee accountants
  • Review work prepared by accounts team
  • Key point of contact for clients for queries and support
  • Preparation of Management Information
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Provide commercial business support

Skills and Qualities

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 6 year’s experience working within a firm of accountants. Individuals must have developed a broad range of experience.
