Barber McLelland is working with a leading independent firm of Accountants based in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Semi Senior/Senior to join the firm's Tax Division. Due to recent restructuring, this newly created position will help support a diverse portfolio of clients, including High Net Worth Individuals, Entrepreneurial Business Owners, Partnerships and Directors. The business would like to consider individuals with a minimum of 3 years personal tax compliance experience with the ability to manage their own allocation of clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing personal tax compliance services for a varied portfolio of clients, including processing of tax returns, ensuring returns are processed accurately and delivered to agreed service standards.
- Management of client information, ensuring businesses submit all appropriate information for the completion of tax returns.
- Ensure that the client’s tax liability is correctly calculated and the client is advised accordingly.
- Communicate directly with clients and HMRC regarding tax compliance matters on the phone and in person.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation and prepare working papers.
