Our client is a leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax professional for the role of either a Personal Tax Assistant Manager or Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To organise and manage the Self Assessment compliance function across the firm's Doncaster office.
- Act as mentor and line manager to personal tax team members, providing support and development where appropriate.
- Ensure that the personal tax clients of the firm are provided with the highest level of client service in respect of their personal tax affairs.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of personal tax compliance clients, building strong working relationships with those clients.
- Review personal tax returns prepared by staff members.
Skills and Qualities
The business is ideally looking for an experienced Personal Tax accountant who has developed experience working within the accountancy profession in either a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax environment. Applications will be considered from individuals who are ATT or qualified by experience from a similar background. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic approach and be a well-organised team player with good communication skills at all levels.
