Accounts Senior - Hybrid Working (Full or Part Time)
The Role
Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a regional independent firm of accountants who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior for their Worksop office.
The position can operate on either a full or part time basis aloing wth the option for some home working.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting the firm's
Partner, the role of Accounts Senior will be responsible for a variety of accounting services, along with supporting a wide range of clients. Duties will include:
- Preparation of accounts for SME's lmited companies
- Preparation of management accounts
- Provide client support - queries and software advice
- Management of a client portfolio
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
- Preparation of VAT
Skills and Qualities
The business is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior who has a minimum of 5 years of experience working within an accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will be AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, however, the business would also welcome applications from individuals who have developed experience in the accountancy profession who have chosen not to pursue accountancy qualifications.
Individuals must have a good working knowledge of the production of statutory accounts, be computer-literate, and have knowledge of cloud accounting products, along with Sage and Iris.
Salary
- Salary up to £28,000 - £40,000 (depending upon level of experience)
- Hybrid working
- Full or Part Time (Min 3 days/week)
- On site parking
