Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Barber role based in London. The Barber will provide haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling services while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Consulting with clients on desired styles
- Recommending appropriate hair care and grooming products
- Delivering consistent, high-quality services
- Maintaining workstation hygiene
- Managing appointment flow
- Supporting walk-in clients as needed
The Barber will collaborate with the team to uphold shop standards, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and help build a loyal client base.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Barbering and Hair Cutting, including classic and modern techniques
- Skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, with the ability to recommend suitable styles and products
- Background in Cosmetology or formal barber training from an accredited school or program
- Relevant licensing or certification to practice as a barber in the UK (or ability to obtain it)
- Strong client service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage back-to-back appointments, and maintain a tidy, safe workstation
- Experience in a barbershop or salon environment is preferred; familiarity with point-of-sale and booking systems is a plus
- Willingness to stay current with trends, tools, and techniques through ongoing learning
