Barbaricum is seeking a Program Management Portal Administrator to support the administration, enhancement, and modernization of Government program management systems and databases.

The successful candidate will maintain and improve enterprise portals, develop workflow automation solutions, administer databases, and support secure, cloud-based collaboration tools that enhance program management and operational efficiency.

This position requires experience with database administration, application development, workflow automation, and secure Government information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, administer, and enhance Government program management portals and supporting applications to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
  • Evaluate existing portal capabilities and recommend system enhancements, process improvements, and new technologies that improve functionality and user experience.
  • Administer and maintain relational databases, including database configuration, performance monitoring, backup, recovery, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support database applications and data management solutions that meet Government mission requirements.
  • Develop database architectures, implementation plans, technical documentation, and migration strategies to modernize legacy database systems.
  • Plan, execute, and document database testing activities, including system integration, user acceptance, and production validation.
  • Install, validate, and maintain operating system, database, and application security patches to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data management solutions supporting data lifecycle management, reporting, analytics, chain of custody, and web-based services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, CAC-enabled web and cloud-based applications that support Government collaboration and information sharing.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflow solutions that streamline business processes, approvals, task management, and project tracking.
  • Implement digital workflow capabilities that enable secure electronic review, concurrence, and approval by Government personnel.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide program managers and stakeholders with actionable operational insights.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, user guides, and standard operating procedures for supported applications and databases.
  • Provide user training and technical support to ensure successful adoption and effective use of portal, database, and workflow solutions.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and software developers to identify requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Support system modernization initiatives by integrating new technologies, improving automation, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of program management tools.
  • Ensure all database and application activities comply with Government security policies, cybersecurity requirements, and applicable information assurance standards.
  • Perform additional database administration, application development, and portal management duties as assigned in support of Government mission objectives.

  • Minimum level of experience: 2 years
