Our client, a leading Investment house, is seeking a Macro Trader for their Prop and Investment desk.

Main responsibilities are:

  • To promote, develop and execute financial instruments ideally US and European Equities, Euro Bonds, Futures, Options and FX with brokers under the FCA Senior Managers and Certification Regime as a Certification Employee under Client Dealing Function, SYSC 27.
  • This activity is carried out under the FCA's permission Managing investments.
  • By interpreting financial/market news and determining market sentiment via research, valuation, and data analysis.
  • To execute financial instruments Company and brokers in London, EEA, USA and Asia.
  • The Trading shall be executed and settled by Companies own account under a discretionary mandate and relevant instructions within a limited trading capacity.
  • To analyse financial/market information and determining market sentiment via research, valuation, and data analysis.
  • To share all relevant information with colleagues within the front office of the Company, to maximise business flows within the compliance limits.
  • To provide assistance to Senior Management.
  • To comply with all the Company rules, policies, and procedures.

Education and Skills:

  • Previous Macro /Prop Trading experience from Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Securities House.
  • Graduate preferred, but skills may override.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of US and European economy and markets and working experience in the field.
