Our client, a bank based in London is hiring a Digital Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role has a focus on business and data analysis, and some test coordination.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gather requirements from relevant stakeholders about needs and future growth in a format that is applicable to the audience e.g. Use Cases / Requirements Matrix etc.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully.
- Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware, and processes.
- Design and execute A/B testing procedures to extract data from test runs.
- Participate in change control technical assessment and ensure that all changes to the network and systems are performed in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
- Performing analysis of the data.
- Assist with management of the integrity of data (control and oversight).
- Create test cases to support project activities and IT releases and provide progress reports.
- Documenting test scripts and test evidence, including defect management and reporting.
- Assist in the coordination of testing and analysis to better understand the software under test.
- Investigate issues and escalate to appropriate touchpoints for bug resolution.
- Create knowledge-share documentation.
Skills and Experience:
- Prior banking experience (essential).
- Experience within the UK Payments landscape.
- Knowledge of corporate, personal, and transaction banking.
- Bachelor's degree in software development, computer science/engineering, or similar.
- 5+ years experience in technology analysis, development, and deployment.
- Experience of working on transformation programmes.
- Technical competency with MS Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Power BI, Visio, Atlassian product suite and some SQL query proficiency.
