We are working with our client with their search for an individual to join their team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that facilities under the control and management of Loan services are maintained accurately within the systems and controls available. Ensuring all facilities can be serviced and all drawings have been processed in a timely manner in accordance with policies (credit approvals, legal framework, current regulatory and compliance requirements) and procedures.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Review executed facility agreements to manage all triggers with stakeholders.
- Validate Borrower, Lender and key stakeholder requests against the agreement prior to instructing external parties as Agent.
- As Lender validate Agent notices prior to updating internal systems linking to financial reporting on credit matters.
- Manage and co-ordinate all voluntary and mandatory triggers throughout the facility lifecycle as the role of Agent and Lender.
- Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to ensure consent and instruction is clearly received from all parties.
- Build strong communication and network with all internal and external stakeholders to manage the facility and portfolio in a timely manner.
- Utilise Loan IQ, debt domain etc. to track conditions, instructions and financials throughout the facility lifecycle.
- Co-ordinate across the Loan Servicing team with all key areas for accurate and timely notifications and updates of banks' books and records.
- List all risks identified with servicing the deal, aligned with the banks' risk framework to monitor and mitigate risk.
Skills:
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in core academic subjects.
- A Level (or equivalent) preferred.
- Additional language skills advantageous.
- Considerable experience of working within a Financial Institution Middle Office / Control function.
- Considerable operational experience of loan products.
- Operational and administrative knowledge of the loan market.
- Experience in reviewing loan agreements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurised environment.
