Our client, a Financial Institution, is seeking a Fluent Mandarin Loans Operations to join their team on a permanent basis. The role of the position is to support the Manager with Loans Administration, Accounts and Custody, preparing and processing all daily work for approval.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Preparation of daily work relating to all aspects of Loans Administration from Pre-Drawdown preparations to final repayment.
- Administration of Corporate customer accounts including payment initiation, statement provision, processing of fees, commissions & charges as necessary.
- Administration and maintenance of the documents held in custody on behalf of the Front Office departments.
- Act as the first/second level of approval of the work generated as directed.
- Participate pro-actively in all projects related to the development of the Operations Department, its systems and processes in support of the London branch development.
- Complete cross training to attain a level of knowledge of other sections within the Operations Department.
- To develop skills to become a proficient member of the operations department.
- Work closely with Head Office for system testing, enhancements and updates.
- In time, review and develop branch policies and procedures related to Loans Administration, Accounts & custody in line with changes and enhancements.
- Constant adherence to Regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Skills and experience:
- Bilingual in both English and Mandarin is a must.
- Degree holder.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
- Able to demonstrate good knowledge of payments operations, Loans administration and Corporate Accounts Administration.
- Able to demonstrate strong learning capabilities.
- Approachable personality, someone who is proactive in taking initiatives, responsibility and is a strong team player.
