We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused individual to join the team at The Alverton Hotel as Bar Server. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining high standards in a busy bar environment.
Responsibilities- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests.
- Prepare and serve drinks to specification, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding confidently to guest requests and queries.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation behind the bar and within service areas.
- Support restaurant and events teams during busy periods when required.
- Assist with stock replenishment and maintaining bar organisation.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred, full training provided.
- A friendly, positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
