We are seeking a dedicated Taproom and Brewery Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the brewing process, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the taproom. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering quality products and excellent customer service within a vibrant brewery environment. Prior experience in food production or mechanical knowledge is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Run the taproom on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
- Clean taproom areas and beer lines.
- Assist with the brewing process, including ingredient preparation and equipment cleaning.
- Help with packaging of beer both kegs and cans.
- Assist with deliveries to trade customers.
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and food safety standards throughout all operations.
- Support the organisation and cleanliness of the taproom and production areas.
- Operate brewing and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
- Handle stock rotation, storage, and inventory management.
- Assist with customer service duties within the taproom, providing information about products and brewery events.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in food production or related environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to health & safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
