The hotel has an opportunity available for Full Time/Part-Time Waiters to join our Food and Beverage team. Your duties will include:

  • Running a section of the restaurant to the required restaurant and bar standards.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of food menus, beverages and other facilities including guest services within the hotel.
  • Knowledge of POS system ensuring that all orders are entered correctly.
  • Ensuring a smooth process for order taking and food delivery.
  • Carrying out all daily shift duties as per job description and brand standards.
  • Handling all guest requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Delivering a high standard of cleanliness in restaurant and bar areas, including room service.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Previous waiter experience working in a 5-star focused restaurant and/or hotel.
  • Good communication.
  • Approachable and having the desire to challenge themselves within a professional team.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of Health & Safety regulations for food & beverage within the UK.

If you can demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage:

  • Ability to speak a second language.
  • Hospitality qualification.

Your hours of work:

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, the role is full-time, 40-hours per week/ part-time 20 hours per week. Working to a flexible rota with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
