The company designs and manufactures high-quality, technically complex electro-mechanical products, taking projects from initial concept and development through to production. Key Responsibilities
- Develop designs from initial concept through to prototype, manufacture and production
- Produce 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings
- Build and assemble prototypes
- Prepare manufacturing documentation, assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Investigate new materials, manufacturing processes and finishing techniques
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline
- 3D CAD design skills - Solidworks
- Understand mechanical manufacturing processes, materials, tolerances and finishing techniques
