As the Systems Capability Specialist – Home Care, you will support workforce scheduling capability, system adoption and operational efficiency across Home Care Services. The role designs and delivers systems training, capability uplift and user support for scheduling and workforce optimisation platforms including Alayacare and Ortec. Working closely with the scheduling teams, operational leaders and system stakeholders, you will support effective system utilisation, standardised practices and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workforce planning, scheduling performance, operational efficiency and client service outcomes. This hybrid national role includes travel between sites, including interstate travel as required, and is offered on a 12 month maximum-term, part-time basis.
As a trusted specialist within the Scheduling At Home team, you will:
- Design and deliver practical training for scheduling systems, including AlayaCare and Ortec
- Build user capability and confidence through coaching, support and clear learning resources
- Support system changes, rollouts and enhancements to drive adoption and best practice
- Develop and maintain user guides, training materials and knowledge resources
- Identify opportunities to improve training, workflows and system use across the business
- Contribute to workforce efficiency while supporting a safe, values-driven workplace
You’ll bring a blend of training expertise, systems knowledge and strong stakeholder skills, along with:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent adult learning qualification
- Experience delivering systems training for workforce management, rostering or scheduling platforms
- Strong understanding of scheduling, workforce optimisation and operational workflows in a large, distributed environment
- Excellent facilitation, communication and coaching skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance
- Experience developing training materials, e-learning resources and using digital learning tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience in aged or home care, scheduling optimisation software, or large-scale system change will be highly regarded
- An unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and ability to travel interstate as required
