About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead – Workplace Relations to join our People & Culture team and lead critical, organisation-wide initiatives across workplace relations.
This is a high-impact role focused on delivering key programs of work including workplace wage assurance and the overseeing of Enterprise Agreement negotiations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliant, sustainable and contemporary workplace practices across a large, complex and nationally dispersed organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts, you will translate strategy into practical outcomes—balancing technical excellence, stakeholder alignment, and business impact.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major Workplace Relations projects, including:
    • Wage assurance, compliance and remediation programs
    • Enterprise agreement bargaining and implementation
  • Drive the development and execution of project strategies, plans and governance frameworks
  • Partner with Industrial Relations specialists, legal advisors, payroll and operational leaders to ensure robust and compliant outcomes
  • Manage complex stakeholder environments, ensuring clear, timely and effective communication across all levels of the organisation
  • Translate industrial and legislative requirements into practical, operationally viable solutions
  • Anticipate, assess and manage risks, including regulatory, financial and reputational impacts
  • Lead business engagement and change activities to support adoption of new agreements, frameworks and ways of working
  • Ensure alignment between workplace relations initiatives and broader organisational strategy, systems and processes
About You:
You are a commercially minded and outcomes-driven leader who thrives in complex environments and can confidently lead high-profile, high-risk Workplace Relations programs.
You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Workplace Relations or Industrial Relations projects, ideally including wage compliance/remediation and enterprise bargaining
  • Strong technical understanding of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Proven ability to draw on and coordinate specialist expertise (IR, legal, payroll, systems) to deliver integrated outcomes
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with executive leadership and unions
  • Strong project leadership capability, with experience managing multiple workstreams, competing priorities and tight timeframes
  • Ability to balance technical WR requirements with commercial, operational and people considerations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear and actionable insights
  • Experience working in complex, multi-site or highly regulated environments (aged care, health, community services or similar highly regarded)
