About The Role:
BaptistCare is one of Australia’s largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Penrith, Blue Mountains and surrounds. You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.
This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position, offered on a part‑time basis (three days per week, Monday to Friday).

You will be joining an established and supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. Guided by our unique Well-Living® approach, we empower clients to live their best possible lives at home, surrounded by the people, community, and memories they love most. Together, we help people feel loved, valued, and respected every day.
About You:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
- Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings
- Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
- Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission
- Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
