About the Role:
As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for partnering with people living in BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Homes by creating, planning, implementing, and evaluating a diverse leisure and lifestyle program. You will use your creative skills and innovation to deliver meaningful and engaging activities, tailored to an individual’s life experiences, goals and preferences. You will support and lead a team as together you seek to deliver the best outcomes for those living in our communities. You'll have the chance to work at our aged care home George Forbes House, located at Queanbeyan. George Forbes Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour care and support to residents.
The position will benefit from the extensive resources and support available within the organisation, ensuring that you have access to the necessary tools and assistance to excel in your role.
About You:
- Certificate 4 in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willing to complete.
- Current Driver’s license.
- Previous experience working in the Aged Care sector.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards.
