Permanent Part time role based at our Baptistcare Blue Hills Manor Aged care home in Preston, NSW. Working 45 hours per fortnight, Wednesday-Friday from 8am-4pm.

About the Role:
Located at Prestons, Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour care and support to residents. We are looking for a dedicated Laundry Assistant to deliver laundry services to our residents. You will enjoy working in a team who are committed and being able to make a difference in the lives of residents at our Griffith Facility. We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $27.77 - $31.36/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.
Duties may include:
- Sorting & folding linen.
- Labelling laundry packages and delivering them to the residents.
- Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
About you:
The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve. Previous experience in laundry along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
