About the role:
Nestled in the peaceful and scenic bushland of Wagga Wagga, Caloola Centre provides quality, specialist support to a well-loved community on beautifully landscaped gardens nearby to the shops, clubs, and church. The facility provides quality, palliative care as well as security for those living with dementia. This includes our newly built sensory garden, delivering a safe and stimulating outdoor space for clients.
We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $26.51 - $29.94/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.
As a Kitchen Hand/Catering, your duties will include:
- Serve food and beverages.
- Clean kitchen/dining/café areas and equipment.
- Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable).
- Assist with food preparation and reheating meals.
- Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time.
- Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program.
About You:
- Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience.
