Deliver generalist case work in the Homelessness, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) space.
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, alongside mental health and/or alcohol and other drug challenges. Working within our Community Services team, you will play a key role in creating safe, inclusive, and trusted environments where people feel supported and empowered. This is a dynamic, generalist role where you will work alongside individuals to understand their unique circumstances and goals, providing holistic case management, practical support, advocacy, and referrals. You will collaborate with internal and external services to coordinate care and support people to achieve stability, wellbeing, and greater independence.
About You: You are a values-driven professional who is passionate about supporting people experiencing complex and intersecting challenges. You bring experience in case management across homelessness, mental health and/or AOD settings, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice. You approach your work with empathy, respect, and sound judgement, and are confident navigating complex situations. You are a collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and you’re committed to supporting people to achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum).
- Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence.
- Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation.
