About the Role:
Located at Prestons, Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour care and support to residents. As a Carer, you will enhance residents' lives with compassionate care. By understanding their needs and preferences, you create meaningful connections that support their well-being. You will assist with personal and daily care, maintaining dignity and respecting routines, with the support of your team.
Duties may include:
- Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans.
- Assistance with medication and simple wound dressing.
- Assistance with activities under supervision.
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love.
About You:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Be physically able to carry out required duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- A born listener, you’re genuinely curious to know and understand people.
- Your care skills are driven by compassion, and your positive attitude is contagious.
- You rally your team, even on challenging days, to problem solve, connect and overcome.
