3-month max term full-time role | Can be based at Norwest (NSW) or Camberwell (VIC). Flexible hybrid working arrangements to support how you work best.

Work closely with our Community Housing team to harmonise policies, procedures and supporting documentation.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Policy Harmonisation Specialist to support the review, development and harmonisation of policies, procedures and work instructions across BaptistCare. This role will work closely with our Community Housing team and key stakeholders to strengthen policy consistency, documentation governance and organisational assurance. In this role, you will help ensure documentation is current, practical, compliant and aligned with relevant legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements. You will translate complex requirements into clear, accessible and usable documentation that supports consistent implementation across BaptistCare. You will also support policy gap analysis, documentation review, stakeholder engagement and implementation activities, contributing to a harmonised suite of Housing policies, procedures and supporting resources.

About you:

  • Experience working within the not-for-profit, community housing, social housing, or public housing sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development, review, and documentation within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and translating legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements into operational policy and procedural documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and achieve alignment across complex organisational environments.
  • Strong written communication and document design capability, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and accreditation frameworks.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant health, clinical, policy, or governance-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in governance, leadership, public health, or related field.
