As Events Officer, you will play a vital role in building and protecting BaptistCare’s profile and brand through inspiring, engaging, and purposeful events and projects. This is a maximum term (for 12 months) full time role based at our Camberwell Office in Victoria.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and deliver engaging internal and external events that celebrate our mission and values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leaders, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Manage logistics, registrations, and administration with strong attention to detail.
  • Support BaptistCare’s objectives, adapting to new projects and priorities as needed.
  • Be comfortable picking up and putting down projects, responding to changing needs with reliability and empowerment.

About you

You are a highly organised, flexible professional with a passion for creating meaningful experiences. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, switching between event coordination and project work as needed. You bring:

  • At least three years’ experience in event coordination, ideally in a corporate or not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong project management, administrative, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to BaptistCare’s values of Inclusivity, Accountability, Compassion, and Teamwork (IACT).
  • Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and managing event logistics.
  • A willingness to travel and adapt to new challenges.
