About the Role: As a Business Analyst, you will work with stakeholders from all parts of BaptistCare to elicit requirements and capture business needs, articulate and document business requirements, conduct as-is/to-be business process mapping and business process design, participate in project delivery through design reviews and walk-throughs, and validate and communicate outcomes. This position is dedicated to the Residential and Retirement Living portfolio, focusing on aged care–specific processes and supporting technologies.

About the Team: The Information & Digital team drives innovation and transforms care at BaptistCare through cutting-edge technology, seamless operations, and smart risk management. You’ll join a collaborative, solutions-focused team that values creativity, flexibility, and turning complex projects into real-world impact for our frontline teams.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business analyst delivering complex process, data and system change initiatives.
  • Previous experience within healthcare and/or aged care sector or consultancy experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related discipline.
  • Experience in mapping, analysing, and improving business processes using BPMN or other structured process methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of systems, data and integration concepts, with the ability to document application and data architectures.
  • Experience defining and supporting data and system migration approaches, including sequencing, dependencies and risk considerations.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for executives, business users and technical teams.
  • Previous experience participating in project teams.
  • Experience using business analysis and delivery tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key organisational stakeholders, including executives and business users.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work.
