About the Role

As a Social Club Care Facilitator supporting clients attending our Ashfield Social Club, you will be part of a team delivering centre‑based support programs that promote connection, wellbeing and enjoyment for older adults. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday from 8am - 4pm. This position is primarily onsite, overseeing day‑to‑day program operations, client engagement, activity facilitation and coordination of staff and volunteers. You’ll work closely with clients and their families to ensure the program is welcoming, safe and responsive to individual needs and group dynamics.

Your day may include:

  • Coordinating and facilitating centre‑based social support programs, including group activities and client engagement
  • Overseeing attendance, monitoring program utilisation and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day program operations
  • Coordinating staff involved in program delivery and maintaining a safe, welcoming club environment
  • Supporting client wellbeing through meaningful activities, transport coordination and opportunities for social connection

What You'll Bring

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Community Services, Leisure & Health, Aged Care or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently in the community and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with email and apps
  • Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with a minimum Third Party Property Damage Insurance
