Junior ERP Developer

The largest independent fastener distributor in the United Kingdom is looking to recruit into the IT Department to help drive the company forward.

We are looking for graduates or someone looking for their first step into software development.

Location: Rochdale, OL16 – (with potential for home working in the future)

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:45
• Friday 08:00 – 16:00

(One hour lunch)

Holidays: 20 days per year, plus statutory Bank Holidays.

Skills Required:

• Familiarity with Data Mapping & Migration
• Familiarity with C#
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS & PHP
• Familiarity with SQL Server, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries
• Familiarity with API development and integration with external systems
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/computer science, business, finance is preferred
• Organised and methodical with proven experience of working to deadlines

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and enhance features within the Company’s ERP system using C#
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Customise and extend ERP functionality to meet specific business requirements
• Develop integrations between ERP and other systems, including third-party applications and internal tools
• Optimise performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the ERP database and application
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions on time
• Create and maintain documentation for ERP customisations, development, and processes
• Provide technical support and training to ERP users and stakeholders
