About the Role:
- This role, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, involves operating various types of forklifts, performing warehouse picking tasks, and stocking products in designated locations, among other responsibilities.
- Operate a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment to safely move goods and materials within the warehouse.
- Perform warehouse picking activities to fulfil orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stock products in their designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory management.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and shipments.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies related to warehouse operations.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support other warehouse tasks as required by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
- Willing to attend training course(s).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Experience on a forklift truck or a license would be preferred but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and stock items.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
