BAO Battersea is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to help lead smooth, joyful service and support the front of house team on shift. This role is perfect for someone who’s confident on the floor, great with people, and ready to take the first step into a leadership position.
The Position
At BAO, we care deeply about creating memorable experiences - for our guests and our teams. As Supervisor, you’ll help set the tone during service, lead by example on the floor, and support your manager in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be someone the team can rely on, whether that’s training new starters, running a busy section, or jumping in wherever needed. It’s a hands-on role with real opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the FOH team during busy shifts and acting as shift lead when needed
- Running sections and helping keep service smooth, efficient, and joyful
- Training new starters and sharing knowledge with the team
- Handling guest feedback and ensuring high standards of service and presentation
- Supporting managers with floor plans, checklists, and daily briefings
- Being a reliable and positive presence on the floor
Qualifications
- Experience in a busy, quality-led restaurant – ideally as a senior waiter or supervisor
- Confident leading a section and supporting others on shift
- Clear, friendly communication and a calm approach under pressure
- A great team player who’s happy to jump in wherever needed
- A desire to grow and take the next step in your hospitality career
