BAO City is looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead the team with care, consistency, and attention to detail. As Assistant General Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the front of house team day-to-day, helping to create a warm, joyful environment for both guests and staff. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly, while building a team culture where people feel supported, confident, and proud of the experience they deliver. This is a leadership role for someone who’s passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and leads with kindness and consistency. The Restaurant Our Bloomberg Arcade restaurant is home to BAO’s flagship karaoke experience ” with two private KTV rooms bringing the spirit of Taipei’s nightlife into the heart of the City. The dining room sits between them, buzzing with energy from weekday lunch through to late-night feasting. Unique to this location are our sharing bao platters, designed for group dining with bold, playful service. The Position What you’ll be doing: Supporting the GM in the daily running of the restaurant – leading service and managing the pace, energy, and flow of the floor Creating memorable guest experiences through warm, thoughtful service Coaching and developing the FOH team – leading training, check-ins, and ongoing support Helping with rota planning
