Due to our growth and success, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Validation Engineer to support our Validation team across London and the Home Counties. What is the role? You will work alongside experienced Engineers on commercial projects, assisting with physical commissioning/validation activities while developing strong technical, communication, and health & safety skills. Full support will be provided through company and CSA training schemes, with clear progression to a fully qualified Engineer.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist Senior Engineers with HVAC Commissioning and Validation activities
  • Maintain and care for test equipment
  • Undertaking HVAC Commissioning and Validation activities
  • Attend site inductions, toolbox talks, and team meetings
  • Accurately record time and site information
  • Report and test writing
  • Train Assistant Engineers
  • Interface and report to clients
  • Attendance at team meetings
  • Attendance to commissioning site meetings

We’d like you to be:

  • Methodical, reliable, and well organised
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and timekeeping
  • Willing to learn and work flexibly, including some out-of-hours work
  • Comfortable working on commercial construction sites

Qualifications:

  • CSA Grade 1 (minimum requirement)
  • Valid CSCS card or willingness to obtain
  • Competent IT skills, including practical use of Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
