We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Business Partner (Europe) to support portfolio companies across the DACH region and the Rest of Europe. This role works closely with CEOs, founders, and commercial leaders to materially improve demand generation, go-to-market execution, and sales effectiveness. It has a direct tie into our global organisation in North America where this role works closely with the Global Sales and Marketing Business Partner.
This is a hands-on, operator-led role, not a strategy-only position. What You Will Do
- Partner with leadership teams across multiple European portfolio companies to strengthen sales and marketing execution.
- Assess existing go-to-market, demand generation, and pipeline processes and identify pragmatic improvement opportunities.
- Help portfolio companies build and optimize sales and marketing operating models aligned with company size, maturity, and resources.
- Work hands-on with teams through regular conversations, workshops, and direct collaboration inside their daily workflows.
- Support strong alignment between sales and marketing, including ICP definition, messaging, funnel design, and conversion optimization.
- Enable effective use of sales and marketing tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics) with a clear focus on adoption, simplicity, and ROI.
- Support the organization, enablement, and development of marketing teams and execution cadences.
- Identify, standardize, and document best practices across the Banyan portfolio in an easy-to-implement format.
- Track, articulate, and document measurable commercial impact.
What We Are Looking For
- Senior, hands-on experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within small to mid-sized B2B software companies.
- Strong operational background in demand generation, go-to-market execution, and revenue operations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in lean, resource-constrained environments.
- Deep familiarity with modern sales and marketing tools, processes, and organizational structures.
- Proven track record of measurable commercial outcomes and the ability to clearly communicate impact.
- Comfortable operating across multiple companies and engaging with diverse leadership teams.
- Experience in leveraging GDPR and EU compliant Sales and Marketing Automation tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot Sequences) and staying at the forefront of AI trends for GTM leveraging AI tools to drive demand.
How You Work
- Highly proactive, self-driven, and execution-focused.
- Comfortable working side-by-side with operators and engaging deeply in workflows.
- Practical, direct, and action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Collaborative, approachable, and able to build trust quickly.
- Able to balance global best practices with local market and company realities.
- You demonstrate leadership in adopting new technologies.
Language & Regional Focus
- Fluent English and German. Additional European languages are a plus.
- Primary focus on DACH + UK, with responsibility across the Rest of Europe.
Location: Flexible within Europe, ideally Germany, UK, Netherlands. (Proximity to a major international airport required)
