The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Bantock Primary School’s team.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant from September 2026. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people.

The successful candidate will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for delivering the national and school curriculum under an agreed system of supervision. This would include delivering learning for individuals or groups and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress, development and welfare. Work under the direction of teaching staff and actively support the delivery of learning that develops skills in pupils and group/classes in a school. Be familiar with teaching and assessment policies and procedures. Duties are carried out in accordance within set standards and procedures.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Good standard of education in English and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
