Banstead Infant School is seeking a committed and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of their nurturing and engaging nursery provision for children aged 2 to 3 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the foundation of our youngest learners' education within a caring and inclusive environment.
Your Opportunity
In this key role, you will play a central part in shaping our nursery as it continues to grow, ensuring that children thrive in a safe, caring, and stimulating setting. You will lead with vision and enthusiasm, supporting the ongoing development of our provision. Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and professionals will be essential, as will your commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, implementing best practice, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
What we're looking for:
- Early Years Level 3 qualification (Level 5 desirable)
- GCSE grade ‘C’ or above in Maths and English
- Current paediatric First Aid certificate
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- Up to date safeguarding training
- Strong teaching experience in Early Years with a clear understanding of current pedagogy
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development
- High standard of written and oral communication

- Salary: GLF Associate 3.10 - Max - £27,008 - £28,657 FTE
- Pro-rata Salary: £24,202.94 - £25,680.68
