Banstead Infant School is seeking a committed and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of their nurturing and engaging nursery provision for children aged 2 to 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Play a central part in shaping our nursery as it continues to grow, ensuring that children thrive in a safe, caring, and stimulating setting.
- Lead with vision and enthusiasm, supporting the ongoing development of our provision.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and professionals.
- Deliver high‑quality teaching, implement best practice, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Qualifications
- Early Years Level 3 qualification (Level 5 desirable)
- GCSE grade ‘C’ or above in Maths and English
- Current paediatric First Aid certificate
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- Up to date safeguarding training
- Strong teaching experience in Early Years with a clear understanding of current pedagogy
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development
- High standard of written and oral communication

- Salary: GLF Associate 3.10 – Max – £27,008 – £28,657 FTE
