This is a varied, hands‑on role combining driving, tool checking, customer service and workshop support. You’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring tools are ready for hire and delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. No two days are the same – you’ll be out on the road making deliveries, supporting the workshop, and helping customers both in person and over the phone.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering and collecting tools safely using a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Managing multi‑drop delivery routes efficiently
- Loading and unloading equipment safely and securely
- Checking tools in and out, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards
- Identifying faults or damage and reporting or helping resolve issues
- Supporting the workshop with general duties as required
- Providing excellent customer service – including answering phones and handling queries
- Keeping customers and the depot updated on delivery times and any issues
- Maintaining vehicle checks, cleanliness and documentation

- Full UK driving licence (up to 3.5 tonnes)
- Experience driving for work purposes
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A hands‑on, practical approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Multi‑drop delivery experience
- Experience in a tool hire, construction or similar environment
- Previous workshop or mechanical experience
