The purpose of this role is to safely and efficiently undertake remedial work in a customer's home to the standards and timescales set out by Stonebridge. The successful candidate will predominantly cover sites in the North-East and North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have time served and experience in one or more of the following trades: joiner, finishing joiner, painting and decorating, mastic, cosmetic surgeon, tiling, plumbing. You will be able to plan and organise your work, whilst demonstrating high levels of flexibility and have the ability to build rapport with customers and be committed to delivering high quality outcomes for customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure all work undertaken in a customer's home is done so in line with company health & safety policies and any associated risk assessments.
  • Close out allocated build defects to the standard set out in the construction quality guide and within the agreed timescales.
  • Consistently adhere to exceptional standards of behaviour and attitude when working in a customer's home. Act as an ambassador for our business and brand when interacting with customers and our supply chain partners.
  • Maintain contact with the customer to provide them with timely decisions on workload and prioritisation changes.
  • Raise any technical areas of development with the Maintenance Team Manager and be willing to undertake training to expand skill base.
  • Remain flexible in approach to work and customers to respond to changing priorities whilst maintaining the ability to work to high standards under pressure.
  • Demonstrate visible pride in the work undertaken.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years time served or experience in one or more of the following trades: joiner, finishing joiner, painting & decorating, mastic, cosmetic surgeon, tiling, plumbing.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Great communication and rapport building skills.
  • Committed to delivering high quality outcomes for our customers.
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrate high levels of flexibility and ability to plan and organise.
