We're looking for an enthusiastic Hire Desk Coordinator to join our friendly team at our Derby depot.
Hire Activities- Work in accordance with all company systems, policies and procedures to support the effective management and monitoring of all hire desk activities whilst at the same time delivering against performance targets and customer expectations.
- Assist with the setting up of new hire contracts in line with company policy and procedure.
- Support with the creation of quotes (in line with given parameters).
- Help with negotiating on costs (within given parameters) for hire.
- Answer all calls and emails in line with service level expectations.
- Assist with the resolution of questions and queries in an appropriate and timely manner and in line with service level agreements.
- Flag any risks or issues to the Hire Manager / Depot Manager.
- Ensure that all systems and record keeping processes are fully utilised and information is accurate and kept up to date.
- Support with liaising with the Accounts Team to deal effectively and swiftly with existing and new customer account queries and/or questions.
- Liaise with workshop colleagues in relation to all hire activities so as to ensure effective and efficient management of all resources (people and equipment).
- Assist with working in close partnership with the transport team to ensure deadlines and expectations are met and managed.
- Support colleagues to ensure that all tools are presented in accordance with the company requirements and expectations.
- Assist with the sourcing of tools not available in Depot to satisfy hire requirements.
- Provide information as requested and expected so that management information/reports can be provided to the Tool Hire Manager and Depot Manager.
- Build, foster and maintain customer relationships through regular contact (virtual or face-to-face).
- Ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is fully utilised, managed in accordance with expectations and is updated on a regular basis e.g. lead generation, pipeline management, quotes and meeting notes.
- Build strong relationships with providers, partners and suppliers.
- Provide guidance, advice and support to customers in relation to products and services in line with training received.
- Maintain knowledge of existing customers’ business, operations and objectives.
- Build strong and close relationships with the Sales Team.
