We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused
Driver to join our team at our Chesterfield depot.
This is a varied role where you'll play an important part in ensuring our customers receive their equipment safely, efficiently and on time.
You'll be responsible for collecting and delivering tools and equipment using a company van, providing excellent customer service and representing Banner Plant professionally at customer sites.

- What you’ll be doing
- Delivering and collecting tools and equipment using a company van (up to 3.5 tonnes).
- Planning routes in conjunction with the depot team to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
- Safely loading, securing and unloading equipment.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Communicating professionally with customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Keeping customers and the depot informed of delivery progress, delays or any issues.
- Following all road traffic regulations, company procedures and site safety requirements.
- Reporting any vehicle, equipment or site-related concerns to the Depot Manager.
- Supporting the depot team to ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times.
The role is responsible for the safe loading, transportation and unloading of hire equipment to customer locations and maintaining positive relationships with customers while representing Banner Plant professionally.

- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous driving experience for work purposes.
- Good communication and customer service skills.

Desirable
- Experience carrying out multi‑drop deliveries.
- Experience within the plant hire, tool hire, construction or related industry.
- Knowledge of working on construction or industrial sites.
