Responsibilities
- Preparing clear and compliant suitability reports tailored to client circumstances
- Conducting research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
- Analyzing client data and risk profiles to inform advice strategies
- Collaborating with advisers to refine recommendations and clarify client needs
- Ensuring all advice meets FCA requirements and internal compliance standards
- Supporting advisers with technical input and evidence-based solutions
- Explaining our approach to financial advice and ensuring clients understand recommendations
- Contributing to process improvements and maintaining high governance standards
Qualifications
- Experience in a paraplanning role producing accurate, compliant reports
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
- Awareness of FCA regulations, including COBS and Consumer Duty principles
- Ability to interpret client data and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Skilled in using financial planning tools and CRM systems (e.g., Intelligent Office)
- Proven ability to build rapport with advisers and clients
- Exposure to cashflow modelling and standard planning scenarios
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent experience) is desirable
