Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell memberships through tours, presentations and follow-ups with prospective members.
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of the club, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide a welcoming and informative experience for all potential and new members.
- Handle inquiries, appointments and follow-up calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage the membership sign-up process, including completing contracts, entering data into the membership system and processing payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records and ensure confidentiality of member information.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and tracking sales metrics.
- Collaborate with the fitness and customer service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new members.
- Participate in member retention activities, such as welcome calls and satisfaction surveys, to enhance member engagement and loyalty.
- Promote club programs, services and events to current and prospective members.
- Attend weekly video hangouts to discuss KPI performance in absence of a Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- The ability to think outside the box and be a self-starter with your own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- A genuine passion for health, wellness and customer service.
- The ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility.
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service or fitness environment is desirable along with strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- A degree or qualification in sales, marketing or a related field would be advantageous.
