We are seeking an energetic and motivating Group Exercise Instructor to deliver high-quality Spin and HIIT classes. The successful candidate will bring strong coaching presence, musicality, and technical expertise, creating safe, engaging and results-driven sessions for members of all fitness levels.
A typical day in the life of a Class Instructor SPIN/HIIT:
- Deliver structured, safe and motivating Spin and HIIT classes
- Coach correct cycling technique, bike setup and exercise form
- Adapt exercises to suit varying fitness levels and abilities
- Provide clear progression and regression options
- Ensure safe use of studio equipment
- Maintain high energy and strong member engagement
- Create an inclusive and supportive class environment
- Build positive relationships with members
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met
What we are looking for:
- Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-Based or Group Exercise)
- Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (CIMSPA or REPs recognised)
- Indoor/Studio Cycling Qualification (Level 2 Award in Studio Cycling)
- Valid Public Liability Insurance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
It would be desirable if you had a Level 3 Award in Circuit Training and a Level 3 Award in Designing Group Exercise Programmes. Candidates with proven experience delivering HIIT, bootcamp, functional fitness, or studio cycling classes will be highly regarded, particularly those who can demonstrate the ability to programme varied, progressive and engaging sessions that cater to a wide range of member abilities.
