Maintenance Operative - Dunfermline Job Title : Maintenance Operative Hours : 16 hours per week Rate of Pay : 12.71 per hour Location : Dunfermline Bannatyne Group is renowned for their commitment to providing exceptional fitness and wellness experiences across the UK.

Monitoring of preventative maintenance contractors to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.

Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, such as fixing leaks, electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.

Troubleshoot problems and determine the most effective solutions coordinating with external contractors for certain repairs when necessary.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and club policies.

Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments, reporting any hazards or non-compliance issues to the Maintenance Manager/General Manager.

Ensure all areas of the club, including gym floors, changing rooms, and common areas are clear, orderly and good repair.

What we are looking for: Previous experience in a maintenance role.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical Excellent problem solving abilities and good attention to detail.

Physical capability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending and being on your feet for extended periods.

Good communications and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driving licence and own vehicle.

It would be desirable if you have a diploma or vocational qualification in a related field, along with knowledge and experience in plumbing and joinery.

It would also be advantageous if you had a 17th Edition Electrical qualification or the equivalent qualification.
