A typical day in the life of a Cafe Bar Assistant
- Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe bar area
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Provide information about the club's services and facilities as needed
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Desirable: Level 2 certificate in food safety and hygiene
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an advantage
