Role Overview
The Company Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely financial information for individual entities within the Group. This role is a key part of the finance function, ensuring robust accounting practices and providing high-quality financial data to support the Financial Controller in consolidation and reporting. The position requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounts preparation in a multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Preparation
- Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned Group entities
- Complete full balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data
- Produce year-end statutory accounts in line with IFRS
- Support the Financial Controller with consolidation inputs and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintain accurate ledgers, including general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
- Financial Reporting
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting packs to Group Finance
- Provide detailed variance analysis against budget and prior periods
- Assist in preparing financial reports for senior management
