Children's Home Registered Manager Location: Ilford, East London Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Banks Morgan is recruiting a Children's Home Registered Manager for a growing residential care provider opening a new home in Ilford, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children's Home Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to lead a service, build a strong team and deliver safe, therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities * Lead a new children's home * Recruit and develop your team * Promote therapeutic, child-led care * Ensure Ofsted compliance * Oversee safeguarding and care plans * Manage audits and quality standards * Build strong professional links * Drive positive outcomes for children The Children's Home Registered Manager will also oversee regulatory reporting, documentation and compliance to ensure consistently safe, high-quality care. Essential Requirements * Registered or Deputy Manager experience * Level 5 Diploma or willingness to achieve * Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma * Strong safeguarding knowledge * Experience with Ofsted inspections * Knowledge of Regulations 44 and 45 * Proven leadership skills * Eligibility for Ofsted registration Desirable Experience Experience opening a children's home and knowledge of trauma-informed care would be advantageous.
