We urgently require a part-time shop assistant for Banks and Braes in Kirkcudbright – currently two days per week (Monday and Saturday 10am – 5pm). You will be expected to be available to work extra days in the High Season. Immediate start.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Retail Experience in a public facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic Computer Skills (including basic Excel)
  • Aged over 16

Duties Include

  • Serving customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Pricing, re-stocking and assisting with deliveries and stock levels
  • Keeping the shop clean and tidy
  • Cashing Up
  • Directing enquiries for embroidery and print orders (form filling)
