An international business is seeking an experienced tax professional to lead partner-related tax matters across a complex UK and international environment. This is a senior, highly visible role with responsibility for UK personal tax, employment tax oversight, partner advisory matters, governance, risk management and operational improvement. The position works closely with senior leadership, finance, payroll, HR and external advisers.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of partner individual tax compliance, including internationally mobile individuals
- Advising on partnership profit allocations, residence matters, treaty considerations and cross-border tax issues
- Employment tax oversight including PSAs, benefits and remuneration-related matters
- Managing HMRC enquiries and tax risk matters
- Ownership of partner tax payments, reserving and cashflow forecasting
- Leading and developing a specialist tax team
- Driving process improvement, automation and technology-enabled efficiencies
Requirements:
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Experience operating within partnerships or professional services environments
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and complex tax matters
- Experience leading teams and improving operational processes
