A prominent Lloyd's Syndicate have engaged Goodman Masson as they enhance their team through the recruitment of a new Senior Capital Actuary. Reporting into the Head of Capital Modelling, this represents an excellent opportunity for a qualified (or nearly-qualified) Actuary to apply their technical skills in a dynamic, growing environment.
On a day to day basis the Senior Capital Actuary will:
- Oversee a small team of Analysts
- Work with the Head of Capital and Chief Actuary to set the strategic direction of the Actuarial function
- Oversee model builds in ReMetrica
- Take ownership of regulatory issues e.g. Lloyd's Capital Returns
Those with Lloyd's experience are strongly preferred however if you are a qualified Capital Actuary working in Personal Lines / Consulting, your application will also be considered. Solvency II knowledge will also be highly beneficial.
